Brian T. Oleksa
If you have an FTP server and take a lot ofpictures/videos on your phone, then this is a perfect applicationfor you.FTP ME is an application that will show up in your “SharePicture Via” menu. You can simply take a picture/video, select theShare option and FTP the picture/video right to your FTP server. This works great over Wi-Fi and 3G networks. This was tested and works great on the following 3 phones: MotorolaFlipside (At&t network), Motorola Droid (Verizon network) andHTC Incredible (Verizon network). This app would be great for companies (such as an insuranceagency). They could go out to a vehicle accident take a picture ofthe accident and FTP the image right to their server for safekeeping. This would also be a good application for security and publicsafety folks as well. They can take the picture/video and upload itright away so nothing happens to the picture. If you do not have an FTP server online, you can easily buildone yourself for free. I have tested this application using theFree Online FTP server called FileZilla. Anybody can set one up forfree. Please see my website for instructions. Please e-mail me ifyou have any questions.http://www.fwbnet.net/androidHappy FTP-ing..!!
